Bad Boy to Open New Tractor Facility in Monroeville, AL
Bad Boy announced today their plans to expand tractor production to Monroeville, Alabama, which is about 90 miles from the Port of Mobile. The initial opening date for the new facility is scheduled for December, with tractor production and shipping expected to commence in Q1 of 2026. Bad Boy is estimated to bring 35-50 jobs to the region.
“Bad Boy is thrilled to enter the Monroeville community,” said Peter Ballantyne, CEO of Bad Boy. “Our tractor line continues to grow in popularity, so it’s the perfect time for us to expand production. We couldn’t think of a better place to grow our operation, and we’re excited to build our relationship with the city of Monroeville.”
This facility will be primarily responsible for tractor assembly, along with mower component storage and cross-docking, strategic mower distribution, and some parts distribution. It will be located at 850 Drewry Rd, Monroeville, AL 36460 at the facility initially built by Vanity Fair in 1965.
